Cultivation and Harnessing of the Ethereal Flux

How do we gain the ethereal energy in the world of Etharon? There are two ways to absorb or gain ether into your system: Resonance and Imbibition. If you haven’t read the previous scroll about Flux and Ether, please read it by clicking here.

Resonance

To harness the power of Auras, individuals must attune themselves to specific Aura frequencies they wish to absorb. This process, known as Resonance, involves meditation, mindfulness, and understanding the nature of Auras. Through Resonance, individuals can align their personal energy with the Auras they seek to harness, allowing them to draw in the energy, process it, and store it within their Ether Pool.

Imbibition

Consuming magical fruits or drinking magical potions or other products results in a surge of vital energy in the body. Depending on the quality of the product and the nature of refinement or pre-processing using magic/alchemy, it can directly add to the Pool or get cycled via the Core for processing.

Flux Cultivation

The Core (or the Aural Nexus)

The Core acts as the magical processing nexus that manages the absorption, allocation, and regulation of Aura energy. It receives absorbed Aura energy through Resonance and then processes and converts it into a compatible form for the magic practitioner. The Core also governs the flow of energy within an individual, determining the amount of energy to allocate to the Ether Pool or the Nexus, depending on the user’s needs and capacity.

The Pool (or the Ether Pool)

The Ether Pool is a metaphysical reservoir within an individual that stores the harnessed Aura energy. As the individual absorbs energy from Auras, their Ether Pool expands and diversifies, providing a greater range of potential magical applications. The size, capacity, and adaptability of an individual’s Ether Pool can be developed through practice, meditation, and self-discovery. It provides long-term storage of energy for Flux Channeling and the creation of various magical effects.

The Plexus (or the Aural Plexus)

The Plexus acts as a short-term, rapidly accessible energy storage system. The Core distributes energy to the Aural Plexus when an individual needs to perform quick or high-demand magical tasks. The Plexus dispenses a temporary, faster source of energy for immediate use, enhancing their ability to respond to various situations and challenges. The Pineal Plexus and the Palmar Plexus are easier to develop compared to the others.
